“Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending” – Maria Robinson
At this very moment I just got a sudden urge to need to write.
My first thought for this post was to share a “how to” or tip for a certain subject. After a few seconds of contemplation, I’ve realized that’s not my goal for today. On the other hand, I’m sitting in an office awaiting to be brought to my specialist appointment. I’ll have you know that I will not seek any creativity in this dull box.
Back to the how to topic of things. Like mentioned, I’m not going to be talking exactly about how something should be done, instead I’ll be highlighting what can’t be said in a how to. Yes, maybe what I’m spitting out at you may not make the most sense, but I promise it will.
While pondering about possible how to’s, my mind led me to the thought of one topic that someone can’t help you with. How to live a life. Yes, people can give you life hacks, fashion tips, how to write a resumé and do your math homework, but you can’t simply type in “how should I live my life.”
Just to be facetious, I’ve decided to search that exact sentence in Google. The results included a psychology novel, an answers.com reply, how to live your life to the fullest articles and a life quiz. Ok, so yes you can read helpful tips on living life to the fullest and what psychologists have researched. However, even though there’s guidance, there’s no one who can lay out your life plans and overview them with you.
Life choices are so important. Good ones, bad ones, either way, whatever you choose to do will determine what happens in the future. I challenge everyone to make some New Years resolutions (if you haven’t already) and to have a great year full of few regrets.
Not sure about you, but I enjoy reading quotes, especially when they’re either really deep life quotes or funny and light quotes.
Here’s another one: Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces. Smell the rain, and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams.” -Ashley Smith
